March is Fraud Awareness Month in Canada.

If you weren't able to attend one of her meet-ups in 2025, please join Rhonda at one of two upcoming townhall-style events in March.

As a Member of the House Committee on Public Safety and National Security, much of Rhonda's recent work has focussed on beating back the alarming rise in scams and fraud schemes.

That's why she's bringing together community partners to help educate and protect Oshawa constituents of all ages.

Rhonda's special guest at each of these free events is Detective Franssen of the Durham Regional Police Service who specializes in investigating financial crimes against seniors, vulnerable adults and elder abuse.

Both events will offer practical tips on how to recognize common scams, guidance on safeguarding your personal information, steps to take if you're targeted, followed by a question and answer session.

Light refreshment will be served.
