This October, Oshawa residents will elect a new mayor, regional/city councillors and trustees for various school boards.

The individuals you choose to sit on Oshawa City Council and Durham Regional Council will be charged with making big decisions about many vital public services we use each day such as EMS, fire protection, policing, transit, parks, pools, rinks, water and sewage, conservation, waste management, social housing, snow removal, local planning...and more.

If you’re 18 years of age (or will be 18 on Election Day), a Canadian citizen, and you reside in our city or own or rent property here, please take a minute to check or update your municipal voter registration – or add your name to the list – until August 12 at www.RegisterToVoteON.ca.

This check is especially important if you’ve recently moved to Oshawa, changed addresses over the past year or you're a renter, student, or new citizen.
